A Bustier Begins with a Fabric

 

SUIT is spending busy days sampling and preparing.
This summer, we’ll be unveiling three bustiers, inspired by the waistline and fastening details found in traditional Hanbok skirts.

 

 

The fabric itself was love at first sight — one of those materials you feel simply must be made into something.
I wanted to use it for two pieces, but decided on one so we could show you a wider range of moods and feelings. :)

 

 

Every time I hold the fabric before production, I feel both excitement and anticipation.
Each piece will soon become a beautiful garment, ready to meet someone new.
